International removals – a forgotten checklist

Check the references of the company you want to hire. Decide who will do the packing between you and the removals company. Keep all your valuables like jewelry, wallets and phones on you, especially if the movers are packing for you. Be very clear about what is to be packed to avoid any unnecessary mishaps. Make sure all your dates are in order in terms of moving your items and being in your new country when everything arrives. Know what you will be paying for to get a good idea of how much you should budget for. Lastly, don’t forget about your pets. If they are allowed in your new country make sure that they can be transported properly.
